Coolnest Hotel, has transformed an outdoor area into a versatile indoor space. The new facilities feature a large multipurpose room adaptable for cinema screenings or presentations, alongside a smaller, dedicated area for group meetings and workshops.
The hotel showcases a unique colour palette and a design style that seamlessly combines Boho charm with modern elegance. Since the rest of the property was already in operation, the designers from MBSY proposed a carefully crafted to harmonise with and enhance the existing aesthetic.
The owners first discovered BAUX through the flooring, having been recommended Tarkett by a local installer. They were especially captivated by BAUX’s distinctive shapes and vibrant colours, which perfectly complemented the hotel’s overall design concept. when they contacted MBSY, they helped translate their initial sketches into a polished, professional layout that brought their vision to life.
In addition, MBSY aimed to emphasise the striking wall mural already in place. To achieve this, MBSY leveraged BAUX’s extensive colour library to precisely match and accentuate the mural’s tones, creating a harmonious and visually impactful environment.
The extensive variety of colours and shapes played a crucial role in this project. The owners found elements of the hotel’s overall design reflected in the standard BAUX collection. For instance, the Quarter Circle Tile used in the meeting room echoes the circular logo of Coolnest, creating a cohesive visual connection throughout the space.
Incorporating BAUX acoustic panels alongside upholstered furniture has greatly minimised acoustic reverberation in the large room, making it the ideal space for presentations, movie nights, and gatherings.
The collaboration with MBSY has exceeded my expectations. Throughout the entire project duration, I was able to benefit from the experiences of Markus and Naara, especially in selecting individual products and colour combinations. Overall, we are very satisfied with the result.
What I especially like is the connection between the floor and the BAUX panels. Additionally, the milling gives the panels a certain something and fits perfectly with the overall concept of the hotel. At this point, we would like to thank you again for the support during the process and for the collaboration with MBSY.
