This project involves the successful installation and generation of 29.25 MW through the efficient utilisation of wind energy, a renewable energy source, at Nashik, Sangli and Satara districts.
The wind turbines generate electricity that would have otherwise been generated using fossil fuel-based power plants. The project, therefore, contributes to the reduction of specific emissions, including GHG emissions.
The project also promotes sustainable economic growth and environmental conservation through the use of wind as a renewable resource.
