BAUX Acoustic Wood Wool
Yes, cutting our tiles or panels with a hand saw, circular saw, or similar is possible. The colours do not run through the material, so you need to use touch-up paint if you cut the tiles or panels.
BAUX Acoustic Pulp
We do NOT recommend cutting the Pulp panel with the risk of altering the product quality long-term. However, if cuts need to be made, use a very sharp knife or a razor to get a fine edge. A fine hand saw can also work, but the edge may be uneven.
BAUX Acoustic Felt Recycled PET
Cutting or resizing the BAUX Acoustic Felt Recycled PET is not recommended. Instead, opt for any of our nine available sizes found here.
BAUX Acoustic X-FELT
You can easily adapt the BAUX Acoustic X-FELT Panels and Tiles. Lay panels or tiles flat on a backing mat to protect your surface. Ensure a sharp blade for clean, precise cuts. Hold the blade at a 90° angle to the panel or tile for square edges and smooth joints. Apply light pressure and make several passes rather than cutting through in one go.
