Fossil-fuel phase-out with biomass

Brickyard owner in Soacha, Colombia, has converted his business to operate modern, energy-efficient kilns using up to 80 percent renewable biomass, saving around 18,470 tonnes of carbon emissions per year. This biomass project has received Gold Standard certification and is part of efforts to phase out fossil fuels and contribute to combating climate change.

Biomass projects involve using organic residues to generate renewable energy, preventing harmful emissions and reducing greenhouse gases like methane. The projects are registered with international standards to ensure their effectiveness.
