Acoustic Pulp Bio Colour
Inspired by Swedish Colour Traditions, Developed for the Future

In today’s fast-paced world, where noise pollution is a common struggle, creating spaces that offer tranquillity and peace has become crucial. As an innovator in acoustic solutions, we’ve recognised this need and developed an impressive Acoustic Pulp solution. This ground-breaking material combines sustainability, aesthetics, and exceptional acoustic performance. In this blog post, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of Acoustic Pulp and explore its unique features, applications, and exciting new colour options recently introduced.

Unveiling Acoustic Pulp

Acoustic Pulp, a revolutionary development by us at BAUX, is a plant-based, recyclable material designed to enhance the acoustics and aesthetics of interior spaces. It is made from a blend of

  • cellulose
  • water
  • wheat
  • potato starch
  • wax
  • citrus fruit

And this versatile material can be used across a wide range of applications.

Exceptional Acoustic Performance

The primary objective of Acoustic Pulp is to effectively absorb sound and reduce echo, resulting in improved acoustics and reduced noise levels within a space. We at BAUX have achieved remarkable sound absorption coefficients for this eco-friendly material through extensive research and development. Its porous structure traps and dissipates sound waves, ensuring optimal acoustic performance.

Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly

As sustainability gains increasing importance across various industries, Acoustic Pulp stands out as an exemplary solution. It consists of 100% natural and biodegradable materials, making it an eco-friendly alternative. Furthermore, the material is fully recyclable, ensuring minimal environmental impact throughout its lifecycle.

Into the Wild. A project where we intended to form a seamless loop from nature to factory to nature again.

Versatile Applications

Acoustic Pulp is a versatile material suitable for various environments, including offices, retail spaces, educational institutions, hotels, and residential spaces. Its flexibility allows it to be installed as ceiling panels, wall coverings, or functional room dividers, transforming ordinary spaces into havens of tranquillity.

Introducing Five New Bio Colours

To enrich the design possibilities and cater to diverse aesthetic preferences, we’ve launched five striking new colours for Acoustic Pulp. The line is called Acoustic Pulp Bio Colour. These colours – Bio Blue Chalk, Bio Green Soil, Bio Red Mud, Bio Yellow Terra, and Bio Rose Clay – have been carefully curated to offer a range of options that can seamlessly integrate into any interior design scheme. Whether creating a bold accent or blending harmoniously with existing palettes, the new colours enhance Acoustic Pulp’s visual appeal while maintaining its exceptional acoustic qualities.
